What is Studio Membership?

Our studio membership offers dedicated ceramic artists 24/7 access to a fully-equipped pottery studio in the heart of Phoenixville. Whether you're a seasoned potter or continuing your journey after taking classes with us, membership provides the space, equipment and community to develop your craft on your own schedule.

Phoenix Fire Clay Studio is a creative community where makers support, inspire and learn from each other. Our members range from hobbyists exploring clay as a meditative practice to professional artists building their ceramic businesses

Membership Benefits:

  • 24/7 Studio Access: Work on your schedule with round-the-clock access to the studio. Early morning or late night, the studio is yours to create.

  • Professional Equipment: Access to 9 pottery wheels, a large Olympic kiln, Cone Art kiln, extensive glaze library, and all the tools you need for hand building and wheel throwing.

  • Community: Join a supportive community of ceramic artists. Share techniques, get feedback, and be inspired by fellow members.

  • Member Discounts: Receive discounts on clay purchases, workshops, and special member-only events throughout the year.

Prerequisite:

We require all potential members to take classes with Phoenix Fire Clay Studio before you are able to apply for membership. We would like to get to know you and see if we are a good fit for each other. In a pottery studio, space is always an issue, that being said there is a waitlist for membership at this time. Contact us for more information and add your name to the list.

How to Become a Member:

Complete our 12-week Adult Wheel Throwing course or demonstrate equivalent experience from another studio.

2.

Contact us to express your interest. We'll schedule a brief meeting to discuss your ceramic goals and studio expectations.

Start Creating!

Membership Pricing

$275/month

Includes 24/7 access, dedicated shelf space, and all studio amenities. Clay purchased separately at member pricing.

Please note: We are not a production pottery studio.

  • Month-to-month commitment, cancel anytime with 30 days notice

  • Clay available for purchase at discounted member rates

  • Guest passes available for $25/day

  • Members must maintain studio cleanliness and follow all safety guidelines

  • Yes, all members must complete our 12 week Adult Wheel Throwing course or demonstrate equivalent experience from another studio. This ensures everyone has proper training in studio safety and equipment use.

  • Clay is purchased separately at discounted member rates. This allows you to choose the clay bodies that work best for your projects while keeping membership costs affordable.

  • Members can purchase guest passes for $25/day. Guests must be supervised by the member at all times and follow all studio rules and safety guidelines.

  • We do not offer membership pauses. If you're taking up shelf space, payment is expected for that month. You can cancel with 30 days notice, and we'll hold your shelf space for up to 60 days to give you time to retrieve your work and supplies.
